The arena can accommodate a large capacity of up to 13,000 people, depending upon the stage configuration. Offering an optimum view from every seat with its pillarless structure, the best possible audience experience is assured within this impressive facility. Enhancing its versatility are the 1,200 portable seats and 2,660 retractable chairs. A recently installed state-of-the-art, fully automated mother grid and flexible lightweight staging system provides SIS with the capability of turning shows around faster and more cost-effectively than any other venue of its kind in the region. In just four hours, the venue can be transformed from a full concert stage set-up to a broadcast-ready sports environment, offering significant cost savings and maximizing time available for essential sound checks, lighting set-up, sports warm-ups and artiste rehearsals. In addition to excellent technical facilities, the main arena in SIS is also wheelchair accessible and well supported by prestigious artiste dressing room suites/team changing facilities, production offices, crew catering and equipment storage space.
